St. Carterius (Karterios) of Sebaste

Writer's picture: karterioskarterios

St. Karterios (or in Latin Carterius) is commemorated on November 2. St. Carterius was a soldier for the Roman Empire. He, along with Styriacus, Eudoxius, Agapius, Atticus, Marinus, Oceanus, Styrax, Nictopolion, and Tobias defended the faith during time of Empire wide persecution. At the orders of Emperor Licinius Licinianus they were all arrested, brutally tortured, and then burned at the stake in 315 AD.

May St. Karterios and those who were martyred with him intercede for us!
